Giving Anonymously

Posted: January 18, 2011 in Non-Profit, Portraits

Giving Anonymously is a wonderful Non-profit started in beautiful Bellingham, WA.  A friend of mine had a vision to start a non-profit where people can give to others anonymously.  It is a great organization.  This is basically how it works.  You give money to someone through their site.  They cut a check for that full amount, it is sent to the person, in return they are asked to call the number and leave a message for the anonymous giver.  It is run 100% by volunteers and they have given over $1.5 million dollars away.  They have been featured on NBC (watch the videos on GA’s site) and in many other news outlets.  Now Washington state has imposed a new law and Giving Anonymously has to have $15,000 in a savings account as an “insurance.”  They are asking that you consider giving towards the $15,000 so they do not have to shut their doors.  They need to have this money by the end of the month.  Please consider giving.  Any amount counts!

Here are some recent photos I took of Lionel, the founder, for a publication.

Please consider giving!
